Entertainment is an industry that is a huge multi-billion dollar business and it consists of a variety of different activities. It includes movies, television shows, video games, reading books and magazines, music, sports, and art. These activities can stimulate the brain and cause it to release seratonin and dopamine. These feelings are good for the mind because it was shaped to understand the world around it.
According to Bates and Ferri (2010), entertainment is an activity understood objectively, encompasses communication between text and audience from an external stimulus, offers pleasure, requires an audience, and occurs in a passive form.
