The Yale Daily News (YDN) is the oldest college daily newspaper in the United States and is published each day when classes are in session. YDN has been read by students since 1878 and its alumni have gone on to prominent careers in journalism and public service, including William F. Buckley, Lan Samantha Chang, John Hersey, Sargent Shriver, and Joseph Lieberman.
Most people get their news from social media and websites such as CNN, NPR, and The New York Times.
